Enter the authorization numbers for extensions if applicable.

See the Authorizations page on the My Esri site to obtain this if you do not have this number available to you.

Enter your core product authorization number (ESUxxxxxxxxx).

Enter your personal information where applicable.

If using a provisioning file, select the option I have received an authorization file from Esri and browse to the file.

Select Authorize with Esri now using the Internet.

Select the ArcGIS Engine (Single Use) option if you only need to run Engine applications.

After the installation, open the ArcGIS Administrator wizard.

If you want to facilitate the authorization process or authorize silently, a provisioning file generated from the Authorizing and Provisioning portal on the My Esri site can be used.

If you do not have an Internet connection for the machine on which you intend to install the software, you can authorize the software via email or via the My Esri site.Recommended: Use an Internet connection to complete the authorization steps below.

Follow the instructions to complete the upgrade process.ДЄuthorize ArcGIS 10.3.1 Engine Developer Kit and ArcGIS Engine Single Use For ArcGIS 10.3.1 Engine, you will need to launch the ArcGIS Administrator. You will be prompted to upgrade your license if 10.0 licenses are already present.

On completion of the ArcGIS 10.3.1 Engine Developer Kit installation, click Authorize.

Uninstall the ArcGIS 10.0 product without deauthorizing your existing licenses.

Instead of deauthorizing older licenses and authorizing the latest version, you can convert your existing 10.0 licenses to 10.3.1 using the one-step upgrade option.

ArcGIS 10.3.1 for Single Use: If ArcGIS 10.3.1 will be installed on a machine that is different from where a previous ArcGIS 10.x product is currently installed and you wish to use the existing ArcGIS 10.1-10.3 authorization number for ArcGIS 10.3.1, the previous ArcGIS 10.x product must first be deauthorized before authorizing ArcGIS 10.3.1.ДЇor existing ArcGIS 10.0 users, automatic license upgrade functionality allows for an easy license upgrade process.

Existing ArcGIS 10.1-10.3 authorization numbers will work with ArcGIS 10.3.1.

See the installation guide for more information on installation upgrades, new installations, or installations over versions prior to 10.1, which are not supported by the upgrade process. The settings for the installation location, license manager (for Concurrent Use), or authorization information (for Single Use) are retained in the upgrade.

The ArcGIS 10.3.1 setup package is designed to detect and upgrade an existing installation of the same ArcGIS product.

Language pack setups are also available to apply additional languages to existing installations of this component. ArcGIS Engine (Windows) is available as a localized setup.
